Meal Plan | Meals With Under 5 Ingredients
Quick and easy meals without the long list of ingredients
When you're feeling a little lazy and can't be bothered slaving over the oven, the last thing you want to be doing is sorting a meal with a million and one ingredients. We've got you covered. This week's meal plan includes easy recipes with 5 ingredients or less - giving you more time to relax. It includes low calorie lunches, dinners, desserts and snacks.
Monday Dinner: Marmite & Cheese Pizza
As far as Lo-Dough recipes go, it doesn't get much simple than this. But don't let simplicity fool you - the taste is all there... albeit, as long as you are a marmite-lover!
Tuesday Snack: Chocolate Fudge Miracle Cake Bar
We know first-hand how hard the afternoon slump hits sometimes. To pull you out of it and keep you satisfied throughout the rest of the day, one of our cake bars with your favourite brew is the perfect solution. Under 150 calories and 2g sugar for a massive cake bar, which is packed with gut-friendly fibre.
Wednesday Lunch: Gut-Healthy Kimcheese Toastie
The Kimcheese toasted sandwich is a modern-day classic as far as we are concerned. Tasty as hell and full of probiotic goodness... it's almost a perfect lunch. Well, if you are looking to get those calories and carbs down - then making it with Lo-Dough is the way to go. Another added bonus, of course, is that with Lo-Dough, you get a massive hit of fibre - making this sandwich doubly good for your gut health.
Thursday Dessert: Low-Cal White Chocolate & Raspberry Cupcakes
These gorgeous, sweet and fruity cupcakes are perfect low-cal, high-taste choc treats for when you need that sweet fix. Our low-calorie brownie mix is a just add water affair and after mixing in a teaspoon of baking powder, the cooking method is a 2 minute blast in the microwave (just be sure to use silicone cupcake moulds)
Friday Dinner: Low Cal Pizza Napoli (Anchovy & Caper)
Love them or hate them, you can't deny that anchovies have been linked to pizzas for quite some time. As far as we're concerned, it's a big yes! Their salty, savoury kick combined with the briny tang of capers makes a perfect pizza topping. As with all Lo-Dough recipes, we're looking at something that is incredibly low-calorie, low-carb and high fibre - whilst remaining full-flavoured and satisfying.
Saturday Dinner: Low-Carb Cheesy Chicken Tenders
Chicken nugget/dippers CAN be made healthy and this recipe is packed with flavour, easy to prepare and completely irresistible! We've combined our Lo-Dough Southern Style Crumb with some crushed down 'Cheesies' - a great popped cheese snack product. If you don't have these to hand, substitute with grated parmesan or cheddar. The combination is just perfect and will coat slices of chicken breast or even thighs, mushrooms or anything you can think of really.
Sunday Dessert: Brownie Lollipops
Making brownie lollipops is great fun and super simple. Kids (and adults) will love them. Sure, dipping a ball of brownie in a pot of melted chocolate can get a bit messy, but that's all part of the fun, right? Our brownies are low calorie, low carb, gluten free and low in sugar, but still utterly delicious. Check out the recipe for these perfect low calorie sweet treats!
