A Low-Carb Pizza With A Festive Twist
Turkey, stuffing, pigs in blankets and even sprouts (yes, sprouts!) on a pizza? You'd better believe it - Christmas is nearly upon us! This is not just novelty for novelty's sake - it's a totally delicious combination that will put a Christmas spring in your step.
Christmas is a great time of indulgence and plenty and nobody should have it any other way - but if you can sneak in a Lo-Dough pizza every once in a while, you just might be able to offset some of those calories and carbs! You certainly won't feel like you are missing out - alongside the usual suspects - rich, tangy pizza sauce (always Nowt Poncy for us) and melted Eatlean Tasty cheese, you also have the salty, savoury taste of the turkey, bacon and sausage, the herby hit of the stuffing and the ever-contentious flavour of the sprouts. In fact, here at Lo-Dough HQ, we LOVE sprouts and won't hear a bad word said about them!
This pizza is only 12g of carbohydrate, but also high in fibre, high in a protein and a very respectable 392 calories and as such, this makes it a highly suitable post-workout meal too (you could always up the turkey for more protein!).

Method1. Preheat your oven to 250°C/475F/Gas 9
2. Spread the passata across the Lo-Dough in a thin layer, right up to the edge.
3. Spread the grated cheeses on top of the passata and add the turkey, sprouts and pigs in blankets on top. crumbling pieces of stuffing in and around.
4. Put the pizza in the oven for 7-10 minutes or until golden and bubbling.
4. Serve with a crack of black pepper on top.
