A Super Quick Low-Carb Snack That Provides You 9.3g Fibre

Low-Calorie, Low-Carb, Low-Fat, High-Fibre. Nutritionally, this is Lo-Dough in its purest form, albeit slightly tweaked with poppy seeds, herbs and onion salt. By rolling out your (lightly dampened) Lo-Dough as thin as possible with a sprinkle of the previously mentioned ingredients, you are just a 2-minute blast in the microwave away from the perfect, moreish crisp-bread snacks. The fact that is is so high in fibre means that you will actually feel satiated by what you eat!

The numbers are insane - 47 calories, 2.2g carbs and 9.3g fibre.

Serve with anything you desire, hummus, salsa, guacamole... the list goes on.

When looking for a quick snack between meals, why not try Lo-Dough instead of the usual carby, unsatisfying snacks.

Method

  1. Spray your low dough with a little water (you can just flick a few drops from your fingers) and rub over the Lo-Dough so it is coated in moisture.
  2. Mix all the other ingredients in a cup or bowl and then sprinkle a good pinch over the damp side of the Lo-Dough. Run over with a rolling pin (use the paper the Lo-Dough comes with as a protective barrier) to push them into the dough. Repeat on the other side.
  3. Place on a plate and microwave for two minutes.
  4. Remove and break up into pieces.
