4 Low Calorie Waffle Ideas

Low-Calorie Waffles Are Yours With Lo-Dough. Here Are Three Delicious Ways To Enjoy Them.

First of all, we want to let you know this: you don't need an expensive waffle iron to make incredible low-calorie waffles with your Lo-Dough. All you need are some silicone waffle moulds that allow you to bake your waffles in the oven - these are widely available. Not only are they cheap, but they are also easier to clean and they produce just as fantastic a result. Find them online here or in larger supermarkets.

Low calorie pancakes, made simple. Create a batter using: 

• 1 piece of Lo-Dough, blitzed to fine crumbs
• 1 large egg, beaten
• 3-4 teaspoons of sweetener
• A little vanilla paste
• 40ml of milk
• Approx 40ml of water (or enough to loosen the batter to a thick pancake batter consistency).
• Half a teaspoon of baking powder.

Just mix all the ingredients into a batter and fill your moulds. bake for 20 mins or so, or until firm on the outside and soft in the middle.

This will give you a portion of two waffles that are only 201 calories, 5g of carbs, but a massive 9.3g of fibre.
